Jenn,
I happened onto your blog through wordpress.com and thought it was interesting that you were writing about convergence in communications. I have been working with Cisco and Juniper products for many years and this is exactly what they are working on now. Cisco is working on their unified communications to bring your telephone, email and IM all together into one easy-to-use application. Not quite sure how well it will work out for them but only time will tell.
